Support email: justin.dev@gmail.com
We try to reply within a couple of business days. To help us help you faster, please include:
- Your device model (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro, iPad Air 11”).
- Your iOS version (Settings → General → About → iOS Version).
- The app version (open the app → Speed tab → tap the menu in the top-left → Getting Started → the version is at the bottom of that screen).
- A short description of what happened, and what you expected to happen.
If you’re reporting a Wi-Fi survey or device-scan issue, screenshots of the relevant tab are very helpful.
Common questions
How do I cancel my subscription or free trial?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. To cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap WiFi Buddy Pro and choose Cancel Subscription.
If you cancel during the free trial period, you will not be charged.
How do I restore a previous purchase?
Open the app, go to the Pro tab, and tap Restore Purchase. Make sure you’re signed in to the App Store with the Apple ID you used to buy the subscription.
Do you collect my data?
No. WiFi Buddy does not run servers, accounts, analytics, or ads. All your survey history, device list, trust flags, and Klaus chat history live only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Why does the Survey tab need camera access?
The Survey tab uses ARKit world tracking to convert your real walking path into a position on the floor plan. The camera feed is only used by ARKit for visual-inertial tracking — it is never recorded, screenshotted, or transmitted.
Why does the Devices tab need Local Network access?
The Devices tab discovers devices on your home Wi-Fi using Bonjour, SSDP, and TCP port probes. iOS requires the Local Network permission for any of those to work. None of that traffic leaves your router.
